How to choose a stove

Choosing a stove in Limerick

Things to consider when choosing a stove:

Size of the room

Probably the most important decision when buying stoves is to make sure you get the right heat output for your room. The questions to ask here are, Is it just one room your trying to heat?, Is the area open plan? or How well insulated is the room?

A very basic way of calculating heat is to get the length * width * height in feet. Multiply this by 10 and divide by 3414. This will give you an idea as to what Kw output stove you will need to heat the room. An example of this is a room 15ft * 15ft * 8.5ft needs 5.6Kw of heat.  If in doubt bring your measurements in and our staff will be more than happy to guide you.
